After Care
-
Avoid wetting your eyelashes for 24 hours after your procedure. This will give the bonding agent an appropriate amount of time to cure.
-
As an extra precaution you should also avoid steam rooms, saunas and swimming during this 24 hour period.
-
Do not use waterproof mascara on your eyelashes. Use a water soluble mascara or one designed specifically for eyelash extensions.
- Use cotton swabs or q-tips to remove makeup by working gently around the eyelashes.
-
Do not use cleansers, makeup removers or moisturizers that contain oils or any type of solvents on your eyelids, as these will compromise the bonding agent used to adhere your eyelashes.
-
Avoid rubbing your eyes, you should pat your eyelids gently to avoid any breakage or skin irritation. The patting technique is gentler on the sensitive skin surrounding your eyelids and is better for your eyelash extensions.
-
Be careful not to snag your eyelash extensions on materials such as clothes and towels.
-
Never pull your eyelash extensions off as you will damage your natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions should be removed by trained professionals only.
-
Do not perm or tint your eyelash extensions.
-
Do not use eyelash curlers on your eyelashes.
-
Book your next eyelash refill in intervals of 2-3 weeks or a maximum of 4 weeks in order to maintain your optimum eyelash effect.
